Property development and investment companies reveal that there is currently an estimated £1.744bn worth of unclaimed property across England and Wales.
London seems to be the main hotspot, with almost a third of all unclaimed estates situated there, whilst the South East has an estimated 18% of all unclaimed estates.
Clearly due to the pandemic, many are struggling financially and of which is most likely going to get worse, unfortunately. Bearing in mind that there is £1.744bn worth of unclaimed property clearly illustrates that there is a problem concerning Will and those passing away intestate.
